Senior Staff

This paid position is available for college-aged students that are looking to commit to an entire summer of ministry, service, and fun! The goal of a senior staffer is to spread the unconditional love of Jesus Christ to all campers and counselors and to facilitate a fun and safe week of camp. They are our lifeguards, ropes course facilitators, archery teachers, worship leaders, live-clue characters, and silly song singers. Applicants should have a desire to work closely with others as part of a team and comfortable with long hours and a demanding schedule. Resident Cabin Counselors

This paid position is for the 18-year-old, recent graduate of high school or older who loves spending time with kids and wants to work directly in a cabin with campers. RCCs are on the frontlines of our ministry and spend all-day, every-day ministering to and having fun with the 8 to 12 campers in their care. They lead daily devotionals, manage camper behavior, play games, and attend activities with campers, all while encouraging them to have the best week of their life. The RCC serves alongside a volunteer cabin counselor helping mentor in their faith and showing them the ropes of counseling. Applicants should be able to commit to working 4 to 6 weeks throughout the summer with a fluid and flexible schedule. Applications will not be posted until January 1st of 2019.


Cabin Counselors

This volunteer position is for the 16 and 17-year-old that is looking for a counseling experience that allows for learning and personal growth. The CC will be on the frontlines with our Resident Cabin Counselors learning how to share the love of Christ with others and having a blast while doing it. Applicants should be available to volunteer for at least one full week of camp and be able to attend a mandatory weekend training in the spring of 2019. Applications will be posted on November 1st of 2018 for the following summer.


Floaters

TThis volunteer position is for the 15-year-old who is looking to step out of the camper world and into the counselor world. Floaters stay in the Director’s Quarters and work to learn the ins and outs of camper behavior management and spend time with a different cabin every day, getting to know campers and learning how to counsel. Applicants are only permitted to work one full week of camp and be able to attend a mandatory weekend training in the spring of 2019. Applications will be posted on November 1st of 2018 for the following summer.
